Thanks to Botsford Fire Rescue and Merenna Amusements carnivals rides, games and food are once again being offered in the main parking lot at Newtown High School, 12 Berkshire Road, during the annual Spring Carnival.

This year’s event opened on Thursday, April 18, and will run until Saturday, April 20. Hours were 6 to 10 pm on Thursday and Friday, and 2 to 10 pm on Saturday.

On Saturday, a special offer this year will allow Newtown children up to age 12 free rides between 2 and 5 pm, courtesy of the amusement company and Botsford Fire.

Discount tickets and wristbands are also available all three days of the carnival.
