Reed Intermediate School student Lexi Amato-Checchia and Sandy Hook School student Hannah Busillo sold lemonade and baked goods on Friday, April 15, during the school district's April break.

The girls are both cheerleaders with the USA Wildcats of Bethel and held the lemonade stand open on Grand Place, from 11 am until 1:30 pm, to raise money to donate for new cheer gym equipment, according to Lexi's mother, Holly Checchia.
