WATERBURY — Naugatuck Valley Community College and Brass City Ballet will present the third Connecticut Choreographers’ Forum Concerts on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, in the college’s Fine Arts Center, 750 Chase Parkway.

Performances will take place both evenings at 8 pm.

Choreographers selected to showcase their work in the 2003 forum include Patricia Buchanan, head of the dance department at Westover School in Middlebury; Terre Lefferts, founder of North West Hills Dance Foundation and Arts in Motion in Salisbury; Mary Barnett, director of In Good Company in Branford; and James Robey, artistic director of The Bare Bones Dance Project and Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance in Ridgefield.

In addition to the performances, Joan Kunsch, associate director of the Nutmeg Ballet in Torrington, will lead a master dance class at 1 pm on April 26. A panel discussion on the process of choreography will also be presented that afternoon.

Tickets for the evening performances are $15 and $8 for students. Group rates are available. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the NVCC dance department at 203-575-8179 or Brass City Ballet at 203-573-9419.
