To the Editor:

On behalf of Sandy Hook organization for Prosperity (SHOP), I would like to thank everyone for coming to our Celebrate Sandy Hook Tat Holler concert this past Saturday. Despite the weather, it was great to see such a huge crowd enjoying themselves. The opening of the concert by our special guests this year, members of the Reed Intermediate School Concert Chorus, really captured the audience. Thank you, Michelle Tenenbaum, Reed Intermediate School Concert Chorus Director, for making this all possible.

The Celebrate Sandy Hook concert would not have been possible without our very generous supporters. They include Jimmy Koplick and Live Nation, 92.5 Radio, Frontier Communications, PennGlobe, and Andy Sachs - Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our ongoing efforts of revitalization and arts and culture initiatives. Special thanks to Jeff Wallace and Cindy Grospitch from Live Nation for believing in us. Your dedication and hard work on our behalf are unmatched.

The venue was an absolutely perfect location to showcase out village. Thank you Mike Porco, Sr for making such a beautiful location available for the community concert. I also want to thank Officer Felicia Figol from the Newtown Police Department for arranging for assistance from the Cadets from Explorers Post 823, and students from Porco Karate for assisting with the parking. Your help made it so much easier for concertgoers and everyone else coming into Sandy Hook for the evening.

Lastly, thank you to our Concert Committee, with special thanks to our volunteer marketing director, Julie Friend. Julie not only designed our beautiful T-shirts, but headed up all of our marketing efforts. If you didn't have a chance to purchase a T-shirt, we'll be selling them at the Duck Race, please come visit our tent on Church Hill Road.

Thank you for Celebrating Sandy Hook! Please be sure to visit our Web Site sandyhookvillage.com, and our Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity Face Book page for more information.
