DANBURY — Danbury Mall will host a carnival presented by Powers Great American Midways Carnival, May 23 to June 9. Carnival games, rides and food will all be available.

The carnival will be in the mall’s overflow parking lot, 7 Backus Avenue.

Carnival hours will be Monday through Thursday, 5 to 11 pm; Friday and Saturday, noon to midnight; and Sunday, 1 to 10 pm.

The carnival will have extended hours on Memorial Day, opening at noon that Monday.

Newtown residents are invited to Newtown Night, on Wednesday, May 29. Bring an ID with your home address on it to the carnival office and receive a free ride wristband.

Discount ride-all-day coupons are also available for anyone during the run of the carnival. Coupons for $3 off the ride wristbands will be available inside Danbury Mall at Guest Services, located on the upper level in front of XX! Forever.
