Colleen E. Gantier was recently recognized as Henry Abbott Technical High Schoolâs Student of the Year. Colleen, a senior culinary arts student, was honored at a luncheon ceremony at Platt Technical High School in Milford on May 18. The criteria for the award included demonstrable leadership skills and citizenship, communication abilities, and academic excellence.
Caleb Elston, a junior at the Gunnery in Guilford, has been named Gunn scholar for the 2004-05 academic year. In its third year, the program allows students to submit proposals for a yearlong project of historical research based on the contents of the schoolâs archives. Caleb will study the sociological implications of the architecture and interior design of the Bourne administration on the Gunnery campus when it was a private home in the late 19th and early 20th Century.
Michael V. Rigoli, son of Mr and Mrs Vincent M. Rigoli, was recently awarded a dachelor of arts in English with a second major in theater arts from Roanoke College in Roanoke, VA.
