Book Discussion For Young Readers

BETHEL — Readers in third through sixth grade are invited to explore the world of Hogwarts and all of the adventures of Harry Potter when Judy Sullivan, an English department professor at Western CT State University, leads a one-session book discussion program on the third book in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The program will take place on Tuesday, June 1, at 6:30 pm, in the alcove of Bethel Public Library, 137 Greenwood Avenue. Registration is required to attend and parents can register their children for the program by calling the Children’s Room at 794-8756.

This is one of many Book Voyagers series taking place in Connecticut libraries during spring 2004, sponsored by the Connecticut Humanities Council. The program has been made possible with a grant from Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

For further information about this or any of the other series, call the Connecticut Humanities Council at 203-248-6370.
