Beloved Father And Grandfather

John G. Soltis, 75, of Bridgeport, died at his home, May 22. Mr Soltis was born in Bridgeport to John Soltis and Helen (Artymowski) Soltis Murcko.

Two beloved children, including Dr Robert Soltis, and his wife, Joann, of Newtown; one brother; four beloved grandchildren; and two nieces, survive him.

 Mr Soltis was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Bridgeport Board of Education.

He was a very devoted father and grandfather, and a huge fan of UConn sports.

Funeral services were May 26.
