To the Editor:

I would like to thank the Newtown residents who participated in the Democratic Caucus for the 106th State Representative District. It was exciting and encouraging to see so many engaged voters, at such an early stage of the election season.

Together, we can bring change to Newtown, in this heated political climate.

The support my campaign has received from Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated voters has been overwhelming. From the start, we've listened carefully to the needs of our neighbors, many of whom are tired of partisan politics. They want results. We need a voice in Hartford that will fight for us, for property tax reform, school funding, and town aid. They want to elect a leader who will be accessible and accountable to constituents.

I will work tirelessly throughout this campaign to honor the trust you have given me. This campaign is about community and making sure our voices are heard, as the state struggles with a changing economy.

I am proud to call Newtown home, and, if elected, will put all of my experience and passion into being the strongest voice possible for you: my friends and neighbors. Once again, thank you for the support you have shown our campaign. Together we will work towards November and beyond.
