Quilts Needed For Fall Church Festival

MIDDLEBURY — St John of the Cross Church is soliciting hand made quilts to be sold at its apple festival in September during its “Clothesline Quilt Sale.”

Quilts may be new or used, but all quilts must be hand made. Used quilts must be in good condition. No stamped quilts will be accepted.

There will be a $5 fee for miniature and wall hanging quilts and a $10 fee for all larger quilts entered into the sale.

Besides quilts, the committee is also soliciting scrap fabric donations, used quilting patterns, quilting books and other quilting accessories, all of which will be sold during the fair.
