The Newtown High School Class of 1969 is planning a 50th class reunion for Saturday, October 19, at the Southbury Wyndham Hotel, 1284 Strongtown Road. A gala dinner is planned, and live music will be provided by the Corky Ballard Trio.

Tickets are $90 per person and include one drink. The deadline for purchasing tickets is September 15.

The organizers ask that everyone, even those will not attend the reunion, send in a recent photo of themselves along with some details of the life they have been living for the past 50 years. Registration is at 6:30 pm (cash bar will be open); dinner will be served at 7 pm, with dancing from 7 pm to 11 pm.

A block of rooms will be available at the hotel at a reduced rate of $109/night until September 15. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel; be sure to mention that the booking is for the NHS class reunion.
