Recognizing Girl Scouts

To the Editor:

Thirteen years ago Girl Scout Troop 819 was founded at Sandy Hook Elementary School with over 20 Daisy members. Recently the four remaining members received recognition as Ambassador Adult Members.

I would personally like to congratulate Heather Ghent, Lauren Hanulik, Caitlin Teft, and Kathryn Will for achieving such a distinguished honor. These four young ladies received tremendous support and guidance from their families.

I would also like to congratulate the two remaining leaders, Graceann Hanulik and Ronalee Teft for their continued support and success of our troop after my move to Florida eight years ago. It is difficult to imagine our Daisies as Ambassador Adult Members!

As a founding leader of Girl Scout Troop 819, I am extremely proud of all of you. Congratulations and best wishes for continued success as you graduate from Newtown High School, Class of 2009.

Warm regards,

Sheri Zadrovitz
