Suzanne Marie Rocca, 52, of Sandy Hook, died peacefully June 23, in her home, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 21, 1960, in Stamford, and was the daughter of Theresa (Rich) Carlucci and the late Peter Carlucci, Sr. 

She graduated from Rippowam High School in Stamford in 1978. She married the love of her life, and caregiver for the past 14 years, Albert Rocca, Jr, of Stamford, September 25, 1983. This September would have been their 30th wedding anniversary. 

The Roccas raised three children together in Newtown; Kristen, 26, Jaimee, 22, and Nicholas, 18.

Her loving husband and children, her mother, her three older brothers, and a number of close friends and relatives survive Ms Rocca. The family wishes to thank all those who cared for her and the family during her long battle.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Wednesday, June 26, at 12:30 pm. Interment in St Rose Cemetery will be private.
