To the Editor:The Newtown Bee for co-sponsoring the event, writing articles and publishing all the students' creations in The Bee. Many thanks to First Selectman Pat Llodra for proclaiming June 20 through 26 "Newtown Pollinator Week," and for participating in the ceremony to award each student participant a gift basket.

Protect Our Pollinators (POP) would like to thank all the students who created wonderful artwork for the Pollinator Poster Challenge. All the artwork pieces depicting pollinators such as bees, butterflies and hummingbirds are wonderfully creative. We would also like to thank the Flagpole Photographers for displaying gorgeous photographs of pollinators for the event. All photographs and posters are on display at the Newtown Municipal Center until Wednesday, June 29.
