‘200 Years Of Immigration In 45 Minutes),’ Sunday Afternoon At Congregational Church

Newtown Congregational Church will host a presentation by a historian, attorney, and human rights activist this weekend.

Victor Aronow will present “200 Years of Immigration (in 45 minutes)” at 11:30 am Sunday, June 30. All are invited to join NCC members at the church, 14 West Street, for the special event.

Mr Aronow graduated from Boston College Law School in 1970 and soon after moved to Phoenix to work in legal services. He has been practicing criminal defense, civil rights law, and representing demonstrators for the last 45 years.

He is a member of Refugee Aid, a local organization supporting asylum refugee families; and of Uncage and Reunite, which seeks the release of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers from detention and the reunification of separated asylum families.

Mr Aronow was also a founder of Radio Phoenix, an all-volunteer internet radio station that has been on the air for 11 years. He currently serves as its Special Projects Manager.
