Duct Tape Crafts At Library

Area artist and craftsperson Katie Stevenson will lead the Duct Tape Crafts workshop, Tuesday, July 10, from 1 to 2:30 pm, for rising grades 6 through 12, at the C.H. Booth Library. Ms Stevenson has taught several art programs at the library, and is a very popular instructor.

Participants are asked to bring a clean, empty pet food bag, of any size, and learn how to turn it into a tote bag. Cellphone or iPod holders, wristbands, picture frames, roses, and sandals are just a few of the other options Ms Stevenson will help students create, using tape in different colors and patterns, and embellished with jewels, beads, and feathers.

The program is limited to 12 people. There is a supply fee of $6, payable at the program.
