To the Editor:  

On behalf of Saint Rose Parish, I want to thank everyone who supported and attended our Annual Parish Carnival. We were truly blessed with five “rain-free” nights, incredible parish volunteers and a dedicated group of men and women who coordinated the event for us. The presence of the Newtown Police Department gave a feeling of safety and security to our volunteers and guests.

We were also blessed with lively enjoyable entertainment in our dining tent which added a festive tone to the carnival grounds.  Thanks to DJs Steve Chetcuti and Scott Runkle for providing a great mix of music along with our live entertainment:  pianist, Joseph Martin and two hometown bands:  Time & Again and the Cagi Band.

Finally, we thank everyone who joined us for our carnival and continue to support our efforts in being a vibrant faith community in Newtown.  See you next year!
