Public Disturbance

Police, fire, and ambulance crews were dispatched to a report of a rollover motor vehicle accident near 180 Hanover Road at about 10:29 pm July 15.

On arriving at the scene, police determined that such an accident had not occurred.

Police said that their investigation indicated that the report of the accident was the result of a prank allegedly played by Nicholas Martin, 18, of 8 Orchard Hill Road.

Police issued Martin an infraction ticket on a charge of creating a public disturbance. 

Farm Sign

Police report that someone sometime on July 13 stole a painted wooden sign from Castle Hill Farm at 40 Sugar Lane.

The sign’s dimensions are four feet by three feet. The white sign bears maroon lettering on both sides which states in script the words: Castle Hill Farm.

Police are investigating the theft and ask anyone with knowledge of the sign’s whereabouts to contact them at 203-426-5841.
