To the Editor:

Thank you to the Republicans who attended Monday night's caucus. I appreciate your continued support and am so honored to once again be chosen as the Republican nominee for town clerk.

I have proudly served as town clerk for the past ten years, and as assistant town clerk for two years prior. My dedication to this town and this job remains steadfast. Over the past ten years I have earned every accreditation available for the town clerk position and I encourage my staff to pursue educational opportunities to help enhance and increase our service to the people of Newtown.

Born and raised in Newtown, I am deeply rooted in our community and am passionate about serving our town. I am member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Sandy Hook Fire Department, as well as the Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT). I love it when I am approached at local organizations' events and hear, "You are everywhere!" I feel it is my calling to help our town personally as a citizen, as well as professionally.
