Fertility Center Opens New Office

FARMINGTON — The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services, part of the University of Connecticut Health Center, has opened a new office in Hamden.

The new office is at 2080 Whitney Avenue, Suite 250. The phone number is 203-230-4400.

The office offers state-of-the-art fertility services, ranging from consultations to advanced procedures, pre- and postoperative visits, psychological services, support groups, classes, and seminars. Patients are seen by David W. Schmidt, MD, a specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

The center’s main office in Farmington, on the campus of the UConn Health Center, is a full-service facility. The center offers many advanced techniques to help patients achieve successful pregnancies. UConn was one of the first centers to offer in vitro fertilization in Connecticut and is currently the largest such center in the state.
