Fourteen college students from around the United States and abroad began classes June 27 as part of the third season of SA@S. Among this year's participating students is Newtown resident Katherine Wolff, who studies musical theater at University of Hartford, the Hartt School.

Visiting artists and teachers to SA@S this summer include Christopher Bayes, Joan Frost, Rachel Jett, Ryan Quinn, Fay Simpson, Alexae Visel, and Andrew Wade.

The Mighty Quinn Foundation is a Stratford-based 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to enhancing the experiences of young people in education and the arts. The foundation honors the passion for learning and love of theater of Quinn Rooney, a Stratford resident who passed away from a rare form of brain cancer in 2012 at age 19. In Quinn's memory, the Mighty Quinn Foundation provides scholarships and theater study programs for college students.
