Animal Enrichment Day Rescheduled

BRIDGEPORT – Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo will host “Animal Enrichment Day” from noon to 3 pm on Saturday, September 2. Please note this is a change from the original August date of the program.

During the ongoing program, zookeepers will demonstrate how they keep zoo animals mentally stimulated and physically active using techniques such as scent balls and hidden food treats. Some activities take place in the Zoo’s Animal Enrichment Playground, which features slides, perches and watering holes.

Zoo admission is $9 for adults, $7 for children ages 3-11 and seniors, and free to members of the Connecticut Zoological Society.
