Morrison Gallery Presenting Sean Riva Photographs

KENT — Dramatic new photographs by Sean Riva are on display at The Morrison Gallery, in the Old Barns section of Kent, through September 12.

Mr Riva is an internationally acclaimed photographer who is best known for his sensual pictures of nudes in beautiful outdoor settings as well as other works that capture the vulnerability and beauty of women.

Many of the works on display at The Morrison Gallery are lfochrome prints (formerly known as Cibachrome), which is a rare photographic process used for the reproduction of slides on photographic paper. The prints are made on a dimensionally stable polyester base, essentially a plastic base opposed to traditional paper base, providing image clarity, color purity that produce critical accuracy to the original slide. His prints are rear-mounted on dibond and front-mounted to non-glare Plexiglas & floated in custom maple frames.

Over many years of photographic experience in the areas of art, lighting, fashion, studio and web creativity, Mr Riva has earned respect as a published photographer in international magazines and has led teams on major magazine and web photo shoots with A-list celebrities. He has traveled extensively and internationally for photographic assignments, both artistic and commercial, all while building his portfolio of nude art.
