The I-84 Exit 11 ramps at Wasserman Way will need to be closed during the overnights of Tuesday and Wednesday, August 28-29, for continued CT DOT road work, according to a notice issued this afternoon by the Town of Newtown.

State crews will be working to complete paving on the Exit 11 offramp, and will also be working on Wasserman Way, on Tuesday, August 28. The Exit 11 on and off ramps will be closed from 8 pm tonight until 5 am Wednesday, August 29.

State crews will then be working to complete the entry ramp from Wasserman Way to Exit 11. Both entry ramps will be closed during the overnight of Wednesday, August 29, through 5 am Thursday, August 30.

The Exit 11 off ramp will be open, according to the Town.
