Town Players of Newtown will host auditions for John Cariani's collection of vignettes, Almost, Maine, on Sunday and Monday, October 2-3. The auditions will run from 7 to 9 each night.Almost, Maine, features nine brief scenes that explore love and loss. The production calls for men and women of various ages. If possible, actors should read the play in advance and be ready to read sides from the script.

Rehearsals wil begin in October, and the production is scheduled to run Friday and Saturday evenings, November 18-December 10, with two Sunday matinees.
