Residents Sought For Commission Posts

First Selectman Pat Llodra is seeking residents to fill several opening on local appointed boards and commissions. In some cases the appointments are required to be affiliated with a specific political party, while in other cases unaffiliated voters are encouraged to consider serving.

The Hattertown Historic District has an alternate position available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter and a full board position available to any registered voter.

The Charter Communications Advisory Board has an open position for any registered voter. 

The Zoning Board of Appeals has a vacant alternate position available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. 

The Conservation Commission has one vacant position available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter, and another vacant position available to any registered voter.

The Inland Wetlands Commission has a vacant position to any registered voter and a second vacancy available to either a Republican or unaffiliated voter.

The Sustainable Energy Commission has an open position available to any registered voter.

The C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees has a vacant position available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. Interested parties please apply by October 18.

The Commission on Aging has a vacant position available to any registered voter.  Interested parties should apply by October 18.
