The Newtown Youth Wrestling Association (NYWA) invites those interested in learning about wrestling to come to attend an open house scheduled for 6-8 pm in The Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, on Wednesday, September 25.

NWYA concluded last season as co-champions of the Western Connecticut Wrestling League. There were also several individual, state, and regional championship titles earned.

New Head Coach Brian Hayes of Danbury is excited to get the season started.

“The Newtown Youth Wrestling Program has experienced great growth the past several seasons,” Hayes notes. “We aim to continue the hard work and dedication that former Coach Chris Bray and our grapplers have started, and finish with another successful year.”
