SCOTTS VALLEY, CALIF. — Slawinski Auction Company will hold its fall estates auction Sunday, October 12, beginning at 10 am. The auction will consist of the collections of two prominent dealers from the San Mateo and Santa Cruz areas, with some additional items.

Special items of fine art, jewelry, art glass, pottery and French furniture will all be offered. Included in this sale is a Pierre Paul Prudhoe (1758–1823) oil on canvas and titled “Andromaque”; three Samuel Peter Rolt Triscott watercolors; a Paris watercolor after Jean Duffy; several portraits, including a Clarence Hinkle; and works by California painters Mary DeNeale Morgan, Arthur Hill Gilbert and James E. Stuart.

Slawinski Auction Company will also offer a selection of art glass including Galle, Daum Nancy, Loetz, Moser, Venetian, Mary Gregory, Phoenix and many other examples. Highlights include a pair of Galle parfait vases, a Daum Nancy wheel carved vase and a Loetz blue iridescent tricut flower vase. Art pottery will also be offered, including Rookwood, Van Briggle, Amphora, Roseville and Weller.

Furniture and accessories include a French bombe inlaid marble top cabinet, a circa 1890 Italian gilt gesso curio on stand, a circa 1800 French gilt wall barometer, a circa 1840 French salon five-piece parlor set, a pair of Victorian figural griffin iron garden benches, a George III mahogany low chest, a Tiffany Studios bronze desk set, a Gustav Becker three-weight wall clock, a Grand Baroque sterling 82-piece flatware set, a French figural bronze three-piece clock set, French beaded purses, vintage paperweights, and Eighteenth Century books.
