Gardening in the Mediterranean presents a challenge similar, believe it or not, to our own here in Connecticut – including a harsh climate! Water, or rather lack of water, in the Mediterranean is a major problem, and the response to it is often one of great simplicity producing stunning effects.

We could take a leaf out of their book, especially those who love to have a pleasant garden, but do not have the time to tend to it.

*Calling all latebloomers!! The United Nations now projects that 1 in 20 baby boomers will live to be 100.  Isn’t it time to rethink our assumptions about growing older?

Whatever our age, most of us long to make a difference, to find a calling that “energizes us and fills us with joy,” writes Prill Boyle. Come hear Ms Boyle, the author of Defying Gravity, tell us how we can all summon the courage to pursue our dreams. This program promises to be a fun evening out so grab a girlfriend and come meet Prill Boyle on Wednesday, October 5, at 7:30 pm.
