Newtown Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 308 are set to host a "Family Art Fun Fair," on the grounds of the VFW, 18 Tinkerfield Road, on Saturday, October 15, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The fair will include food options, art and music vendors, live entertainment, a silent auction, candles and crafts, pumpkin painting, jewelry, and gifts.

Participating vendors and artisans are being sought for the event. The cost is $50 per table, payable in advance with registration. Donations for a silent auction at the event are also being sought.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the NCAC scholarships, and the VFW's Patriot's Pen and Voice of Democracy scholarships.

NCAC and the VFW Post 308 are both nonprofit organizations. Silent auction items to both organizations are tax-deductible.
