Susan Clavette Kovacs

Susan Clavette Kovacs, 37, of Washington, died September 22 at her home. She was the wife of Thomas R. Kovacs.

Mrs Kovacs was born December 24, 1965, in Danbury, daughter of Fernand and Rachel (Picard) Clavette of Woodbury. She grew up in Woodbury and graduated from Nonnewaug High School. She attended Mattatuck Community College in Waterbury and lived in Newtown and Danbury before moving to Washington three months ago. She was a loving mother to her 3-year-old daughter.

Besides her husband of ten years and her parents, she leaves one daughter, Tierney Marie; and four brothers, Steve Clavette of Wolcott, Gary Clavette of Waterbury, and Donald Clavette and David Clavette, both of Pembrook Pines, Fla.

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 26, at 10 am, at St Teresa Church, Main Street, Route 6, Woodbury. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery, Woodbury. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, September 25, from 6 to 8 pm at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.
