To the Editor:

I would like to express my support for the re-election of Jim Gaston to Newtown's Board of Finance.

I have known Jim for 25 years on both a personal and professional level. Since I am not a member of any local committee, political organization, or on any board I cannot speak specifically of Jim's accomplishments on the Board of Finance, but I do know that his tireless work ethic on behalf of this beautiful town has produced positive results for our school system, Senior Tax Relief Program, and the town's five-year Capital Improvement Plan, to name just a few.

As an attorney Jim has represented my business professionally. I have witnessed firsthand his attention to the important minute details, his tireless work ethic and his creative thinking, all resulting in a positive outcome for my business. Jim has and will continue to bring the same qualities to the Board of Finance.

It is on a personal level that I know Jim the best. Jim is an outstanding gentleman, a great listener, and forward thinking. He loves living on Main Street, he loves his wife and four children, and he loves this community. He has dedicated countless hours, no, years, of his personal time volunteering on various boards to make this town what it is today, a beautiful place to live.

Please give Jim your support on November 7 by helping to re-elect him to the Board of Finance
