John Joseph  Connors

John Joseph “Jack” Connors, 36, died October 19, in Hoboken, N.J., after a short battle with a gastrointestinal disease. He was residing in Weehawken, N.J., at the time of his death. Mr Connors was born in Danbury, September 7, 1976.

His parents Skip and Eileen Connors of New Fairfield; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Jenna of Sandy Hook and Bill and Danyelle of New Fairfield; three nieces and one nephew; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends survive Mr Connors.

He graduated from New Fairfield High School, where he excelled in sports and was named the Rebel Booster Club Athlete of the Year his senior year. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart University.

Along with his love of all sports, he was an ardent Yankees fan. He enjoyed spending time on Candlewood Lake with his friends and family, and playing with his nieces and nephews.

Mr Connors will always be remembered as a kind, gentle soul with a great sense of humor, who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral Mass took place October 22 in New Fairfield.
