The local unit of the Salvation Army is having a Recognition Reception Saturday, November 10, at the Congregation Church in Newtown. The reception will take place from 9 to 11 am, and refreshments will be served.

We are inviting all past bell ringers and those who are interested in ringing for the first time. This reception will be an opportunity for us to thank all of you who have helped make the Red Kettle Campaign a success year after year in Newtown. We will have representatives from the Salvation Army present and the event promises to put you into the holiday spirit.
