To the Editor:

There are in the lives of communities and individuals rare moments that offer the opportunity to dramatically influence the future. Now is such a time for Newtown. Our community, state, and nation face significant challenges.

Right now the candidacy of Will Rogers for state representative offers us all the opportunity to put a dedicated, seasoned, and proven leader in Hartford. Will Rodgers is solid. He’s bipartisan and votes his conscience, not for political expediency. Our community needs solid representation in Hartford. Our state needs a solid voice of reason. I’m voting for Will Rodgers. I hope you will think about doing the same.
