Vandals Strike During Halloween Period

Police report they received nine calls from residents concerning cases of minor vandalism which they  had discovered at their properties on and after Halloween.

The incidents reported to police were typical of the vandalism that occurs during the Halloween period, including cases such as intentionally damaged curbside mailboxes, according to police.

On the morning of October 31, police received reports of vandalism having occurred at Sweetbriar Lane, Alberts Hill Road, Farm Field Ridge Road and Ox Hill Road. Later that day, police received reports of vandalism having occurred at Baldwin Road and Juniper Road.

On November 1, two Ashford Lane residents called in complaints about property damage. On November 2, one Poverty Hollow Road resident lodged a vandalism complaint, according to police.

The dollar value of the damage that occurred is unclear.
