Barbara A. O’Toole

Barbara A. O’Toole, 69, of Sandy Hook, died on November 12 peacefully at her home, surrounded by her children.

Barbara was born in Danbury on April 4, 1935, the daughter of George and Josephine Strial. She was raised in Gaylordsville and attended New Milford Schools.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael Swett, and is survived by her son Raymond M. Swett III of Gainesville, Ga., daughters Kelly Rigby of Sandy Hook, Linda Deross of Wellington, Fla., Bethany Swett of Bridgewater, and Lisa Drenckhahn of Danbury; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and three siblings.

Funeral services will be held privately by the Lesko-Miner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Route 25, Monroe.
