YULETIDE AT STORROWTON w/ NO CUTS

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS. â âYuletide at Storrowton,â Eastern States Expositionâs free winter holiday festival, will take place Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 11 am to 4 pm. The weekend event takes place in historic Storrowton Village on the grounds of Eastern States Exposition. Parking is free for Yuletide visitors.

Area garden clubs, florists and designers generously donate their time, expertise and materials to decorate the villageâs historic buildings for the holidays. The villageâs meetinghouse will be the site of a number of musical performances, and additional Yuletide features throughout the village include blacksmithing, fireplace cooking, broom making and basket making, quilting and spinning, and Nineteenth Century crafts.

A lot of things have changed in Sandy Hook shopping area. The old bridge was no longer needed, the town helped create parking , brick sidewalks and classic street lights were added, and zoning was adjusted to add housing. Spending money on a bridge from nowhere makes no sense, focus on things that will add to the viability of the Sandy Hook Center.

I was the recipient of such a invasion of my privacy when my daughter was visiting her boyfriend in Waterbury. They tried to get me to pay them taxes instead of Newtown. They were rude, offensive and threatening and I had to call the mayor of Waterbury to finally get it cleared up after being threatened. It was a long drawn out process to get this overturned. Are we that broke that we have to turn our residents over to these mercenaries? This is beyond belief. How dare you hire these rent a cops to harass and threaten us?

Thanks for the quote, many people don’t realize Newtown does not exist in a silo and we have peers to benchmark against. For example Trumbull also spends less per student and outperforms us. ALL students benefit from consistent policies and quality education. Affordability matters, especially to less affluent families which tend to skew more heavily minority based on census data.
