Burglary/Larceny

On November 20, police arrested Brian Loulis, 31, of Monroe on a warrant, charging him with third-degree larceny and with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. Police said the arrest stems from an incident last summer in which various items were stolen from a property. Another arrest is expected in the case, police said.

Police released Loulis on $10,000 bail for a December 7 court arraignment.

DUI Case

While traveling northward on Taunton Hill Road early on the morning of November 22, motorist Quentin Ham, 19, of 6 Dylan Drive, who was driving a 1984 Pontiac Trans-Am, went off the right road shoulder and struck some rocks, police said. The auto came to rest in a ditch. Ham was not injured.

Police said they located Ham at his residence and charged him with driving under the influence and with making a restricted turn.

Ham was released on $100 bail for a December 6 court appearance.

Vandalism

Police report that on either November 18 or 19, someone vandalized several town vehicles parked at the maintenance garage at Treadwell Park on Philo Curtis Road. Police provided no damage estimate. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact Officer Steve Ketchum at 426-5841.
