Ali Ryerson & Family To Play

Free Holidays Concert

BROOKFIELD — Internationally acclaimed performer and recording artist Ali Ryerson will be joined by members of her well-known, musical family for a special concert — “Home for the Holidays with the Ryerson Family” — on Sunday, December 11, at 3 pm, at The Brookfield Library.

The performers will include Ali Ryerson on flutes, Franz Ryerson on cello, Marthe Ryerson, soprano and violin; and John Ryerson, vocals and trumpet. Noted guitarist and special friend Joe Beck will join the family for selected numbers and Gustavo Andres will provide piano accompaniment.

The unique event will feature a variety of musical styles and is sure to bring the spirit of the holidays to all who attend.    

The program is part of the library’s “Afternoons at the Arbor” concert series, which moves indoors during the winter months. Admission is free and a reception will follow the concert.
