The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library will hold its annual Holiday Book and Gift Sale, Saturday, December 6, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, December 7, from noon to 5 pm.

“The large downstairs library meeting room will be chockfull of a wide selection of quality books for adults and children at prices that simply can’t be beat,” says Friends volunteer Toni Earnshaw.

Shoppers will find new, sealed DVDs and CDs, gift items such as puzzles and toys, and a broad selection of stocking stuffers.

Marge Gingolaski, one of the main organizers of the sale, said, “As always, there will be holiday-themed and general interest books for children of all ages, and a large selection of fiction and nonfiction for adults and children.”

Woodworking and carving books, as well as books on baseball and fishing will appeal to hobbyists. A selection of gift quality gardening and cook books will be available for gardeners and cooks on the holiday gift list. “In addition there are lovely coffee table books available,” said Ms Gingolaski, “and a large collection of hard cover classics that anyone would be proud to add to his or her library.”

New this year, a special table will be dedicated to adult and children’s books signed by the author and/or illustrator, and another section will be dedicated to award-winning books.

All proceeds earned by the Friends of the C. H. Booth Library Holiday Book and Gift Sale will benefit the C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street.

From leatherbound classics to coffee table books, CDs and more, holiday shoppers will have hundreds of gift ideas for all, at the Holiday Book Sale, the first weekend in December.
A large selection of children’s books, CDs, and DVDs are among the treasures shoppers will find at the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library Holiday Book Sale, Saturday and Sunday, December 6-7.
