Mr and Mrs George H. Appleby

Lori Ann Fuchs and George Herbert Appleby were married on August 7 at the Fireside Inn in Newtown with Andrew Csire, justice of the peace, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Rachel Fuchs of Monroe and the late Robert Fuchs.

The groom is the son of Nathaniel Appleby of North Haven and the late Grace Appleby.

The bride was given in marriage by David Esposito.

Arlene Bunnell of Newtown, the bride’s sister, was matron of honor.

Nate Appleby, Jr, of North Haven, the groom’s brother, was the best man.

The bride graduated from Henry Abbott Technical School in Danbury and is employed by the Drug Center Pharmacy.

The groom graduated from Branford High School and is a US Navy veteran. He is the general manager of Jiffy Lube in West Haven.

A reception followed the ceremony at Fireside Inn.

Following a wedding trip to the Jersey Shore, the couple is residing in East Haven.
