Hawley Elementary School's Reading Department welcomed students and family members on the evening of November 29 to "Camp Hawley."

The school's gymnasium was decorated as "Camp Hawley" for the one-hour event. Students and parents brought chairs, sleeping bags, flashlights, and books to read. The lights in the main gymnasium were off, and it was decorated to inspire camping under the stars.

A tent was set up in the middle of the room and fake campfires were set up around the room.
