Rose Marie Baisden, 80, of Newtown, died December 16, after battling heart disease. She was born in New Britain April 26, 1938, and was a daughter of the late Ross and Freada (Rose) Baisden.

Before retirement, Ms Baisden was a housekeeper for an estate in Newtown; in her earlier years, she did bookkeeping and some factory work, as well.

She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family in Newtown, who say, “We’ll miss you Rose; nighty-night.”

In addition to her parents, her brother, Sherwood Baisden, predeceased her.

A Graveside Service will be conducted Friday, December 21, at 10 am, in the Newtown Village Cemetery, 22 Elm Drive, Newtown.

Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
