The C.H. Booth Library had a full class registered for its adult holiday needle felting class, taught by Katie Stevenson, on December 11.

Ms Stevenson provided different colored felts, needles, and Styrofoam blocks for students to use while making their creations.

She brought a variety of finished products as examples of what students could replicate and showed how the loose felt fibers could be manipulated into the desire shape by using the felting needle.

Participants could make festive felt projects like snowmen, Christmas trees, and stockings as well as whimsical gnomes and animals. The creations could be put on a small stand or even backed with a pin to wear.
