A concert at Edmond Town Hall on Friday, January 10, will double as a fundraiser for Newtown Kindness.

Performers will include Jen Durkin & Friends, The Native Heads, Union Rail, Three Legged Dog, Traveling Fools, Jen Ackerly, Julia D’Amato and Dave Oberacker. The event will begin at 7 pm.

The evening will also include an art show featured works by Liz Mullins, with complimentary Italian desserts served from 7 to 7:30 pm, and beer and wine also served.

Tickets are $22 until January 1, $30 if purchased January 2-9, and $35 the day of the show. They are available through MusicIsKind.com (which then offers a link to an eventbrite page). All proceeds will go to Newtown Kindness.

The show is being hosted by Three60 Partners Financial Group, which has hosted a number of charitable events throughout the greater Danbury area. Past events have included those for Ann’s Place, The United Way, The Imagination Library, Friends of Candace Williams, and Housatonic Valley Sports Commission.

The mission of Newtown Kindness is to promote kindness as a guiding principle of humanity. Newtown Kindness is committed to fostering compassion in children and inspiring lifelong contributors to society. The organization aims to facilitate acts of kindness within communities as well as raise awareness of kindness through education, sharing and recognition.
