Ann M. Martocci

Ann M. (Mancaniello) Martocci, 86, of Hartford, widow of Herman J. Martocci, died December 30 at Hartford Hospital.

She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Lanzino “Joe” and Filomena (Gioscio) Mancaniello and had lived in the area all of her life. She graduated from Bulkeley High School where she was a member of the Ph Xi Sorority. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.

She leaves behind three devoted sons and their wives, John and Terri-Ann Martocci of Newtown, Thomas and April Martocci of Cromwell, and Joseph and Mary Martocci of East Hartford. She will be greatly missed by the seven grandchildren she loved so dearly, Matthew Martocci of Rocky Hill, Amy Martocci of Newtown, Keri Martocci of Stamford, Lisa Martocci of Newton, Mass., Joseph, Anthony and Mark Martocci, all of East Hartford. In addition she leaves her cherished sisters and friends, Connie Corridino of Wethersfield and Jean Corridino of Cromwell, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Lanny and his wife Millie Mancaniello.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 3, at 9 am, from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am in St Lawrence O’Toole Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

Friends may call at the chapel on Friday, January 2, from 4 to 8 pm.
