Sharing During The Holidays
To the Editor:
On behalf of the Marine Corps Leagueâs annual Toys for Tots program, we at Curtiss & Crandon would like to thank all the people of Newtown who so generously donated toys and games this year.
We would also like to thank the members of the Newtown Police Department who collected toys in front of Toy Works at the Sand Hill Plaza. Officers Maryhelen McCarthy, Andy Stinson, Michael McGowan, William Hull, Jeff Silver, Amity Robinson, Lenny Penna, Steve Santucci, and Chris Vanghele showed up at the office with an emergency vehicle and two patrol cars packed with enough toys to fill our conference room again this year. A special thanks to Vincent DiNapoli for his generous contribution toward this effort.
These gifts are distributed by the Marine Corps League to hospitals, charitable organizations, and stressed families in the area. Thank you once again for sharing during this holiday season.
