54TH ANNUAL ANTIQUES SHOW RETURNS JAN. 18–19 TO YARDLEY, PENN. w/1 cut

YARDLEY, PENN. — Buck’s County’s oldest running antique show and the first show of the new year will open on Friday and Saturday, January 18 and 19, at the historic Yardley Community Centre. This will be the 54th edition of this popular show.

Once again 21 dealers from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia will fill the floors of the Yardley Community Centre with their wares. The show is well known for its variety of antiques ranging from country to formal and is a shopping source for dealers and retail customers.

Featured items will include country and traditional furniture, primitives, antique tools, folk art, maps and prints, silver, jewelry, china, pottery, glassware, quilts and other textiles, baskets, rugs, books, dolls and toys.

Returning exhibitors include Red Sleigh Antiques, Rose Gallo Antiques, Country Samplings, Old Maps and Prints, Linda Grier Antiques, Serendipity, C. Morris Antiques, Ivy Hill Primitives, American and European Antiques, Imagine Antiques, Ken and Jan Silveri Antiques, Theresa Bogdan Antiques, Friarswood Antiques, Alan, June and Eli Goodrich Antiques and Folk Art, Jane Ashton Antiques, Sandbrook Antiques, Pentimento, and Irene Shelton, Mt Laurel, N.J.

New dealers this year are Peter Byers Antiques, and Mary Beach Antiques.

The show is a major fundraiser for the ongoing preservation and upkeep of the Yardley Community Centre, which dates to the early 1800s and was sold to a group of interested townspeople for $1 in 1941, soon becoming the hub of many local activities.

The Yardley Community Centre is at 64 South Main Street. Show hours Friday are 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $5 and $4 with an ad or article. For additional information, call 215-321-3528.
