Second Annual Twelfth Night Celebration, 7:30 pm, Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street, free Renaissance-theme celebration will include music, dance, dramatic readings, ceremonial carrying in of boar’s head and selection of king and queen, costumes encouraged, reception to follow; 426-9024, 426-6470.

Saturday, January 3

NUMC Monthly Pasta Dinner, 5–7:30 pm, Newtown United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, $9 adults, $8 seniors, $3.50 children, full spaghetti dinner with salad, desserts, and soft drinks/coffee raises funds for church, all welcome, coffee house/musical event follows; 426-9998.
